INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES

Internationality The Roman Union, by its nature, is International. (Constitutions no 7) In its very diversity, the Roman Union can reflect the unity and catholicity of the Church, and be a witness of love in a divided world. Our unity in diversity will be realized to the extent that we live our common Ursuline vocation within our own culture, while opening ourselves to the values of other cultures, and to the mentality and individuality of each of our provinces. (Constitutions nos. 7, 90) We desire to announce Jesus Christ and, faithful to our missionary tradition, to extend his Kingdom to the ends of the earth, so that Christ may be “known, loved and adored by all the nations.” (Marie of the Incarnation, Relation of 1654) (Constitutions no. 5) Two major International Programs are: The Tertianship (click here) Roman Union Province Exchange (click here) AQUA International (click here) |
