Academia Merici, Caracas, celebrates the 475th Feast of Saint Angela

The whole school participated along with Teachers, Directors and school Collaborators.

The Ursulines Sisters had the opportunity to honor a former student of the class of 1985, María Corina Machado, with our "Saint Angela Medal" for working for many years for democracy and human rights in our country Venezuela. Maria Corina was elected to the National Assembly and represents all who seek democracy and the restoration of human rights in our country.

Three school advisors Dr. Gustavo Vollmer, Señor Eduardo Fleury and Dra. Olga Nass de Massiani were also honored for thirty years of service to our community.
