General data protection laws

The General Data Protection Regulation (EU) (2016/679)(“GDPR”).

On 4 September 2018, Legislative Decree no. 101/2018 (the “Decree”) was passed. This amends Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003 (“Data Protection Code”) to reflect the new rules and obligations provided by the GDPR. The GDPR applies from 25 May 2018.
